Reify is a workforce scheduling and task management platform operated by Avalon EcoVillage. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Reify web application and Android app.

Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, department, and role — provided by your organization administrator.
Usage data: Actions taken within the app such as task updates, schedule changes, and form submissions.
Device information: Push notification tokens for delivering alerts to your device.
Location data: If you grant location permission, approximate location may be used for field task features. Location is never stored or shared.
Uploaded files: Documents and images you upload through the app (stored securely on our servers).

How We Use Your Information

To provide scheduling, task management, and communication features
To send push notifications about task assignments and schedule updates
To allow supervisors to manage and coordinate their teams
To maintain security logs and audit trails

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only accessible to:

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on servers operated by Avalon EcoVillage. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission, prepared SQL statements to prevent injection attacks, role-based access control, and regular automated backups.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, your device token is stored securely and used only to deliver notifications relevant to your account. You can disable push notifications at any time from your notification preferences or device settings.

Location Permission

The Reify Android app may request location permission for field task features. Location data is used only in real-time and is never stored on our servers or shared with third parties.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deactivation, data is retained for 90 days before deletion unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting your organization administrator or emailing us at [email protected].

Account & Data Deletion: To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data, email [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Requests are processed within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Reify is intended for use by adults in a workplace context. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
